1. SAMAWA accepts research articles or literature review papers in the field of Islamic Family Law that have not been previously published. The manuscript should be typed using Microsoft Word, in Times New Roman, font size 12, on A4 paper (210 mm x 297 mm) with the following margins: top 3.5 cm, bottom 3 cm, left and right 3 cm.
2. The manuscript must be submitted online via the SAMAWA OJS at
http://ejournal.stisdafabondowoso.ac.id/ejurnal/index.php/samawa
3. All authors of the article must be listed and entered in the OJS system during the submission process under the “Authors” section.
4. The article must be written in Indonesian. Line spacing is single (1.0). Each paragraph should begin with an indentation of approximately three spaces from the left margin.
5. The structure of a research article should include:
Title (in Indonesian and English), Author Identity (Name, Institution, and Email), Abstract with Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References.
6. The Title should not exceed 14 words, centered, typed in Times New Roman, 20 pt regular for the Indonesian title, and 18 pt italic for the English title.
7. Author Identity should include the full name without academic titles. If there is more than one author, all authors and their respective institutions must be listed. The author’s name should be in Times New Roman 12 pt (regular), affiliation in 11 pt (regular), and email address in 10 pt (italic).
8. The Abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, single-spaced, accompanied by 3–5 keywords or phrases (listed alphabetically). Use Times New Roman 9 pt. The abstract in Indonesian should be 200–300 words (the English abstract should match in content). The abstract should be written in one paragraph covering the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract and keywords entered into the OJS system must be in English.
9. The Introduction should present the background and objectives or scope of the study. All sections in this part must be described in integrated paragraphs without subheadings.
10. The Methodology should formulate the research problem in more detail (preferably expressed mathematically, if applicable) and describe the methods used in the study.
11. The Results and Discussion should present the findings and analyses of the conducted research.
12. The Conclusion should summarize the research findings in response to the research questions. It must be written in paragraph form, not in numbering or bullet points.
13. The Acknowledgment section should include expressions of gratitude related to the completion of the research.
14. The References should only include cited sources. The reference format follows the IEEE Style, as shown in the following example:

15. Citations, tables, and figures must follow the IEEE Style format.
16. Authors are required to use a Reference Manager (such as Mendeley, EndNote, or other similar tools) to manage references and citations.
17. The article must be written in accordance with the SAMAWA Journal article template.
18. Authors must avoid duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in any form.
19. Authors are required to attach a Statement of Originality when submitting their article.
20. All matters related to copyright permissions, quotations, or any other intellectual property rights (IPR) issues, including any resulting legal consequences, are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
Before submitting a manuscript to SAMAWA, authors are required to ensure the following:
The manuscript is the author’s own original work and is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.
The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the SAMAWA Journal writing guidelines and article template.
All listed references are only those cited in the manuscript (with a minimum of five references).
Citations and references have been properly managed using a Reference Manager (e.g., Mendeley or others).
The author agrees not to submit this article to another journal unless the manuscript has been officially declared “rejected” by SAMAWA.
The author agrees to maintain good, responsive, and ethical communication throughout the editorial and publication process.
