KEKERASAN VERBAL SUAMI TERHADAP ISTRI PADA KELUARGA PRA SEJAHTERA PERSPEKTIF PIDANA

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Verbal Violence of Husband Against Wife in
Pre-Prosperous Family from Criminal Perspective, where individuals or
families have not been able to meet the basic needs of life properly. Using a
qualitative method with a literature study, data was collected from various
sources, including scientific journals and relevant laws and regulations. The
results show that verbal violence, although often considered trivial, has a
significant psychological impact on victims, including trauma and mental
health disorders. This verbal violence is a serious violation of human rights
and is regulated in Law No. 23/2004 on the Elimination of Domestic
Violence. This research emphasizes the importance of understanding the
factors that cause verbal violence, such as economic conditions, social
norms, and psychological factors, to formulate more effective prevention
strategies in addressing the issue of domestic violence.
